Participants configure access points, conduct site surveys, and optimize channel allocation. Labs include setting up WPA3 authentication, implementing guest networks, and troubleshooting interference issues.

Coverage areas

The curriculum addresses controller-based and standalone AP architectures. You will learn to calculate coverage areas, select appropriate antenna types, and configure QoS for voice and video traffic.

Security modules cover authentication methods, encryption protocols, and common attack vectors. Labs demonstrate packet capture techniques specific to wireless networks and methods for detecting rogue access points.
